Sail Away Club ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website sailawayclub.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

Analytics Data: We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This may include your IP address (anonymized), browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and time spent on pages. We do not collect personally identifiable information through analytics.

We do NOT collect:

• Accounts or passwords (there are none). We collect an email address only when you send us a message through the contact form or opt in to countdown reminders, below.
• Payment information (all purchases happen on third-party sites such as Etsy)
• Location data beyond what analytics infers from anonymized IP addresses

Countdown reminders (optional)

If you opt in on the countdown page, we store your email address, the ship you chose, and your sail date so we can send one short note at each milestone before you sail (90, 30, 7 and 1 days out). We send a confirmation first and nothing else until you confirm. Every note carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and that same link lets you export or delete everything we hold about you. We delete your address 30 days after your sail date. We never sell or share it. The countdown itself, the packing list, and the gift calculator run entirely in your browser; nothing you type there leaves your device unless you submit the reminder form.

Contact form: a message you send us is forwarded to our inbox by email and is not stored on the site.

Cookies

Essential cookies: We may use minimal cookies to remember your preferences (such as a cookie consent acknowledgment).

Analytics cookies: If we implement analytics (such as Google Analytics), those services may set cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track page views. These cookies do not contain personal information.
